In this increasingly technological
world, the important events of history are sometimes not recorded on paper at
all. In this image laden society, video is often the media for telling a
story, preserving an event, and freezing a moment in time.
The National Equal Justice Library is dedicated to
preserving these moments in time. We are collecting copies of training
programs used to educate attorneys on how to deal with specific aspects of
working with indigent clients. Similarly, we collect materials put out by
organizations to educate the community about legal services, indigent defense
and pro-bono activities. We hope to eventually add news reports, congressional
debates, public service announcements and television documentaries that are
relevant to legal aid and indigent defense work.
